Dong-Eui Institute of Technology and Korea Transportation Safety Authority Hold Special Lecture on 'TS Automobile Culture University' Participants of the "TS Automobile Culture University for the Establishment of Advanced Automobile Culture" are taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a special lecture titled ‘TS Automobile Culture University for the Establishment of Advanced Automobile Culture’ on the 23rd, targeting about 50 students majoring in Automotive Engineering, in collaboration with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority Haeundae Inspection Office.


‘TS Automobile Culture University’ is a talent donation-type social contribution activity by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority that educates on understanding automobiles, maintenance tips, and self-repair methods for consumables.


The Authority aims to provide professional knowledge related to automobiles and establish an advanced traffic culture through such open education, and to create a culture of tuning vehicles legally according to regulations by offering specialized knowledge on automobile tuning.


The special lecture was attended by Kwon Chang-jin, head of the Busan Headquarters of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, other Authority staff, and professors from Dong-Eui Institute of Technology’s Automotive Department. The lecture covered topics such as ▲automobile inspection system ▲job creation related to inspections ▲promotion of automobile tuning.


Head Kwon Chang-jin said, “The future-oriented automotive field workforce training project conducted by Dong-Eui Institute of Technology’s Automotive Department, transitioning the educational environment, curriculum, and faculty from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, was impressive.”


Jang Sung-gyu, head of the Automotive Department, said, “We are grateful for holding the TS Automobile Culture University for the establishment of advanced automobile culture,” and added, “Sharing detailed knowledge about automobile tuning, which many students are interested in, was very helpful to the students.”


Established in 1995, the Automotive Department of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has produced over 5,000 professionals in the automotive field to date.


The department actively carries out various workforce training projects such as ▲Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s ‘Future-oriented Automotive Field Workforce Training Project’ ▲Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘Work-Study Dual System for Students’ and ‘Cheonghaejin University Project’ ▲Busan City’s ‘BB21+ Eco-friendly Automotive Workforce Training Project.’
