[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hye-min] GS Engineering & Construction is strengthening its corporate information security activities and personal information protection management.
On the 30th, GS Engineering & Construction announced that it has obtained the 'Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P)' certification for the Xi website, Xi application, and Xi Smart Home Network System application (GS SPACE).
This system certifies that a series of measures and activities for information security and personal information protection comply with certification standards. It is certified by the Korea Internet & Security Agency according to the joint notification standards of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission.
GS Engineering & Construction is the first in the industry to simultaneously obtain certification for two cloud-based services. A GS Engineering & Construction official stated, "We have strengthened cybersecurity functions so that Xi customers can receive safe services," adding, "We will continue efforts to become a sustainable management company by acquiring international information security certifications and establishing a world-class information security system."
