[Asia Economy Reporters Lee Ji-eun and Kwon Hyun-ji] The People Power Party's Special Committee for Organizational Strengthening (JoGang Special Committee) announced its intention to complete interviews for the heads of accident party branches within this year and finish organizational restructuring by mid-January next year.
Ham In-kyung, spokesperson for the JoGang Special Committee, said at the National Assembly on the 30th, "We plan to complete the interviews within this year, and if possible, we expect the organizational strengthening to be completed around mid-January."
On the same day, the People Power Party's JoGang Special Committee held a meeting to conduct the final document screening before the interview process and shared key verification points for each applicant and local issues.
The schedule for interviews of the heads of accident party branches has not been disclosed in detail, but in the Seoul area, they are expected to be held at the party headquarters on December 1st and 5th. So far, a total of 68 regions have been confirmed for recruitment, with 65 regions having completed applications, and 299 candidates scheduled for interviews. The original number of interviewees was 303, but it decreased by 4. Two withdrew voluntarily, and two were not allowed to rejoin the party, according to spokesperson Ham.
Spokesperson Ham stated, "At the 6th meeting, we decided on additional recruitment periods for Seoul Gangseo-byeong, Incheon Gyeyang-gu Gap, and Gwangju Seo-gu Gap, where there were no applicants in the previous recruitment," adding, "The announcement period will be from December 1st for 8 days, and the application period will be one day on December 9th."
