[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Dongwoo Lee] A government-wide 'One-Stop Export and Order Support Team' has been launched to assist the difficulties faced by our export companies.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on the 30th that it held the opening ceremony of the 'One-Stop Export and Order Support Team' at Trade Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This is a follow-up measure to the '1st Export Strategy Meeting' held on the 23rd under the president's chairmanship.

The support team plans to comprehensively assist companies throughout the entire process, including budget, taxation, finance, regulatory easing, marketing, and logistics, to resolve difficulties related to export and order acquisition. In particular, a 'Project Manager' (PM) will be appointed to support orders in nuclear power, defense, and overseas construction and plant export projects.

The team is jointly led by the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and consists of export and order-related staff from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Financial Services Commission. Export support organizations such as the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Export-Import Bank of Korea, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, Small and Medium Business Corporation, and Korea Infrastructure Safety & Technology Corporation (KIND) participate.

Jang Young-jin, 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, said, "With the One-Stop Export and Order Support Team, we will concentrate the government's export and order support capabilities to back the achievement of becoming one of the top five export powers by 2026."
