[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party and one of the leading candidates for the party leadership, strongly criticized the strike by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) Cargo Solidarity, saying, "Is this a labor movement?"

On the 30th, Yoon posted on his social media (SNS), "During the previous strike, they swung iron pipes at non-union members, and this time they threw iron balls causing injuries. Not only are they causing a logistics crisis that is sickening various parts of society, but they are also shamelessly terrorizing citizens who are barely making a living."

He said, "Currently, the KCTU Cargo Solidarity is threatening with the slogan 'Stop logistics to change the world,' holding not only the livelihoods but also the lives of the people hostage and intimidating them. They are tormenting innocent citizens to enforce their demands."

Referring to the story of U.S. President Reagan, who waged a war against unions, Yoon said, "Just like President Reagan, who overcame the national crisis without allowing an inch of tolerance, President Yoon Seok-yeol will also overcome the crisis of union strikes. I will also firmly stand and fight alongside the president with the determination to 'eliminate the KCTU and build the nation.'"
