Gwangju Seobu Fire Station 'Fire-Free Safe Village' Post-Management

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Western Fire Station announced on the 29th that it conducted a post-management event for a fire-free safe village in the Seochang-dong area of Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

This event was promoted to create a safe environment by reducing casualties caused by residential fires and supplying basic firefighting facilities to fire-vulnerable groups such as the elderly and weak.

The Western Fire Station visited each house and distributed items such as powder fire extinguishers, detectors, spray-type fire extinguishers, and gas timer cocks, and carried out various activities for village safety, including free basic safety inspections and removal of fire hazards around the village.

A fire official stated, “We plan to make efforts to prevent fire occurrences through continuous management, not just a one-time event.”
