Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Receives Minister of the Interior and Safety Award for 'National Happiness Civil Service Office'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 29th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the ‘2022 National Happiness Civil Service Office Contest’ and received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award.

The ‘National Happiness Civil Service Office’ is a system that comprehensively evaluates the internal and external spaces and service areas of civil service offices to select excellent institutions for the expansion of demand-oriented customized services, and recognizes their status for three years.

Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education was selected as an excellent institution through expert evaluation, on-site inspection, experience evaluation, and customer satisfaction survey.

The Office of Education was noted for establishing a civil service office that all civil petitioners can conveniently use, such as a threshold-free entrance and installation of height-adjustable civil petition reception desks for wheelchair users, to create a demand-oriented civil petition environment.

In particular, the creation of themed spaces for civil petitioners such as a gallery, book cafe, and resting area in the civil service office, as well as the installation of various convenience facilities and assistive devices for socially vulnerable groups to improve service satisfaction, also received high marks.
