Yeongyang-gun Hosts Regular Concert of 'Onnuri Choir' with Culture Line The 4th Regular Concert of the Yeongyang Onnuri Choir with Culture Line.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] In Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, the Yeongyang Onnuri Choir held the "4th Regular Concert of the Yeongyang Onnuri Choir with Culture Line" on the 28th at the Yeongyang Culture and Sports Center.


The Onnuri Choir is a group composed of local musicians, formed in 2014, and has showcased its skills by participating in various events within the province, including four regular concerts to date.


Amid the difficult conditions caused by COVID-19, they conveyed messages of comfort and hope to the residents by presenting the skills they have honed over time.


At this event, 20 members including conductor Lee Sang-min, accompanist Lee Bo-bae, and leader Jo Dong-man performed in beautiful harmony. The Yeongyang Girls' Middle School cheerleading team and the classical & crossover team Diamante also participated, making the program even richer.


Jo Dong-man, leader of the Onnuri Choir, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Yeongyang-gun, the County Council, the Cultural Center, and the Gyeongbuk Northern Cultural Information Center for organizing this event. I hope this becomes a healing time where everyone present can feel the emotion and happiness brought by the choir's beautiful songs."


County Governor Oh Do-chang said, "I hope that through today's regular concert, the skills you have diligently practiced despite the difficult conditions caused by COVID-19 will be fully displayed, and that it becomes an opportunity to deliver messages of comfort and hope to the residents through beautiful harmony."
