Homeplus to Hold Mega Discount Event 'Homeplus Daeran' Throughout December

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Homeplus is holding a year-end large-scale sale event called ‘Homeple Black Friday,’ offering discounts of up to 80% on food items and clearance stock products.

According to Homeplus on the 29th, from next month 1st to January 4th of next year, the final large-scale sale event of the year, the ‘Homeple Daeran’ promotion, will be held at large marts, Homeplus Express, shopping malls, and online malls.

During the event period, popular fresh food items will be discounted up to 50%, major daily necessities will be offered as 1+1 deals, electronics and clothing will be presented at shock prices, and about 30,000 clearance stock products will be sold at up to 80% off in a warehouse clearance event.

First, until the 4th of next month, My Homeplus membership members will receive a 40% discount on premium pork belly selected as grade 1 or higher, and a 50% discount on pork neck. From the 5th to the 7th of next month, ‘Canada pork belly and pork neck raised on barley’ will be sold at 1,160 won each, a 50% discount.

Nonghyup Ansim Hanwoo sirloin, soup cuts, bulgogi, etc., will be discounted up to 50% for My Homeplus membership members, and the ‘Happy Daeran 30-pack’ will be offered at 5,990 won until the 4th of next month.

‘Dangdang Chicken’ four types, including Dangdang Fried, Dangdang Sweet Seasoned, and Dangdang Spicy Shrimp Chicken, will also be discounted by 1,000 won for My Homeplus membership members.

Until the 4th of next month, various snacks, convenience foods, and daily necessities such as about 10 types of biscuits and pies, about 60 types of sauces, about 30 types of home baking products, about 20 types of beverages and beverage sets, and about 20 types of liquid detergents, fabric softeners, and dish detergents will be offered with a buy one, get one free promotion.

Electronics such as Winia kimchi refrigerators and Samsung kimchi refrigerators will be offered at special prices in limited quantities per store, and the ‘Lucoms Wine Cellar’ will be sold at 69,000 won, a 50% discount, limited to 400 units across all stores.
