Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cup to be Held This December

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The "Badminton Mecca City," Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, successfully hosted the "22nd Miryang Mayor's Cup Badminton Tournament" held on the 27th.
This tournament, hosted and organized by the Miryang Badminton Association, saw the participation of over 500 badminton enthusiasts. The competition featured intense shuttlecock matches divided by age groups (20s to 60s) and skill levels (A to D) in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events.
Jung Sang-woo, president of the Miryang Badminton Association, said, "Thanks to the passion of the club members for badminton, we were able to successfully conclude today's tournament," and added, "I thank all the badminton family members who attended today's event."
Mayor Park Il-ho stated, "I hope today's tournament became a place where all club members could enjoy and unite together. We will continue to actively strive to promote and expand the base of community sports in Miryang."
Miryang recently successfully concluded the 2022 Miryang Woncheon Yonex Korea Junior Open International Badminton Championships and is further solidifying its image as the "Badminton Mecca City Miryang" by hosting the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister's Cup Badminton Tournament this December.
