Anyang Gwanyang Elementary School, Daejeon Yongjeon Elementary School Targeted
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 28th that it conducted a "Mural Painting with Families" volunteer activity by visiting Gwanyang Elementary School in Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and Yongjeon Elementary School in Dong-gu, Daejeon Metropolitan City.
This mural painting volunteer activity, carried out in collaboration with the Milal Welfare Foundation, was organized for Hankook Tire employees and their families to directly participate, experience the values of sharing and coexistence, and create a pleasant environment by providing visual attractions to local residents.
About 100 Hankook Tire employees and their families were divided into two groups and worked on mural tasks such as sketching and coloring on the walls of Gwanyang Elementary School and Yongjeon Elementary School. As the work progressed, the plain walls were filled with brightly colored paintings, transforming into street art galleries and breathing new life into the area.
Through the mural painting activity, Hankook Tire expects to provide various visual attractions to local residents and help prevent accidents within the School Zone. Encouraged by the positive response from employees and their families who participated in the mural painting activity last July, the company continues to carry out ongoing volunteer activities.
Meanwhile, Hankook Tire is actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by conducting various employee volunteer activities such as "Mural Painting," "Voice Sharing," and "Our Forest Creation." The company plans to continue promoting family-involved social contribution programs and take the lead in practicing sincere sharing and coexistence values with the local community.
