[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Kyungsung University (President Lee Jong-geun) LINC3.0 Project Group announced on the 28th that it successfully completed the shared collaboration-based field training and employment linkage project, "Recruit Channel," prepared together with 20 universities nationwide and 24 family companies.

The Recruit Channel was held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan over two days on the 25th and 26th, following employment competency enhancement training on the 18th. The Recruit Channel is a program designed to promote youth job creation and shared collaboration achievements by inducing confirmation of field training and linked employment through in-depth open interviews between companies. Twenty universities nationwide have been planning this through shared collaboration since the first half of this year.

The 20 universities participating in the Recruit Channel, in addition to Kyungsung University, include Catholic Kwandong University, Gyeongsang National University, Kyungil University, Keimyung University, Daegu Catholic University, Myongji University, Baekseok University, Pukyong National University, Busan Catholic University, Busan Institute of Science and Technology, Busan Women's University, Sangmyung University, Sunmoon University, Semyung University, Sejong University, Silla University, Andong National University, Woosuk University, and Halla University. The participating companies include 24 companies such as A-Fact Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Seong-dong) and M-Plus Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-sung).

The event was attended by internal and external guests including Lee Jong-geun, President of Kyungsung University, and Kim Bong-moon, Director of the National Research Foundation of Korea, who delivered welcome and congratulatory speeches. About 400 people participated from 20 universities and 24 companies across five regions nationwide, providing opportunities for open recruitment interviews and field training support to about 200 students.

To assist participating students in successful open interviews, the Recruit Channel conducted pre-training to enhance employment competencies. Speech expert Lee Sera and HR expert Kim Ga-young were hired to provide consulting on hiring trends, core competencies by job, interview evaluation factors, and interview skills. After the open interviews concluded, results were immediately compiled, and employment candidates were announced and certificates awarded.

Students who excelled in interviews, as scored by the industry interview panel, were awarded the National Research Foundation Chairman’s Award, Busan Mayor’s Award, and the President’s Award. Additionally, the 20 universities and 24 companies held a family company MOU signing ceremony to firmly establish the industry-academia-research cooperation system.

Seong Yeol-moon, Director of Kyungsung University LINC3.0 Project Group, who oversaw the Recruit Channel, said, "The shared collaboration-based Recruit Channel induces field training and employment linkage, promoting youth job creation and shared collaboration achievements among universities. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the National Research Foundation officials and the representatives of the 20 universities and 24 family companies who have worked tirelessly. I hope this achievement will serve as a communication channel between job seekers and recruiting companies, placing talents in the right positions for mutual growth, and further develop into a representative job matching program across five regions."
