[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Nonghyup Distribution, which operates Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, announced on the 27th that the sweet and sour winter fruits Hallabong, Tanggeumhyang, and Seredan grapes, which can be enjoyed in winter, have been shipped for the first time as the weather started to get colder.
Domestic citrus fruits like Hallabong and Tanggeumhyang are characterized by their richer sweetness and moderate sourness compared to imported varieties. Their thin skins make them easy to eat. Seredan grapes, commonly known as winter grapes, are the latest grapes available throughout the year. Compared to Campbell grapes, their clusters are smaller, and they have a chewy texture with an average sugar content of over 15 Brix.
A Nonghyup Distribution official said, "Fruits produced on our land have shorter distribution channels than imported ones, so they can be enjoyed fresher," adding, "We hope customers visit Nonghyup Hanaro Mart to enjoy sweet and sour domestic fruits even in the cold winter."
