Cheongsong-gun Continues Promotional Marketing of 'Cheongsong Apple' in Major Cities Cheongsong County Holds Promotional Marketing Event for Cheongsong Apples in Major Cities.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gui-yeol] Cheongsong-gun, known as the hometown of apples, is continuously conducting promotional marketing events in major cities to widely publicize the excellence of Cheongsong apples and to increase the actual income of local farmers through expanded sales channels.


On November 19, the county held a promotional marketing event titled "Golden Jin Cheongsong Apple, Brightening the World" targeting the MZ generation at the Meeting Square in the cafe street of Gwangalli Beach. At the event, free tastings and sharing of Cheongsong apples, as well as exhibition promotions, were conducted, receiving great responses not only from the MZ generation visiting Gwangalli Beach but also from the citizens of Busan.


From November 25 to 27, for three days, they will participate in the "2022 Gyeongbuk Apple Promotion Event" held at Daegu World Cup Stadium.


Organized by Gyeongbuk Province, this event was prepared to promote the excellence of Gyeongbuk premium apples, the largest apple production area, to consumers in major cities. About 1,000 people attended the opening ceremony on the 25th, including the governor, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs officials, members of the National Assembly, provincial council members, mayors and county heads from 15 production areas, apple farmers, and Daegu citizens.


After the opening ceremony, the main events proceeded with special sales by city and county, exhibitions at the Gyeongbuk Apple Premium Pavilion, and consumer promotion events. The Cheongsong apple promotion event distributed one bag of apples per person for free starting at 2 p.m. and promoted the excellence of Cheongsong apples.

On the 25th, the Cheongsong Apple Association (President Woo Young-hwa) hosted a Cheongsong apple promotional event in front of the post office on Chungjang-ro, Gwangju City.


This event aimed to promote the excellence of Cheongsong apples to residents of Jeolla Province, a geographically distant area where promotion of Cheongsong apples had been insufficient. About 20 members of the Apple Association held a free apple sharing event for Gwangju citizens, receiving great responses.


County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, "Cheongsong apples have been recognized as the best apples nationwide, having won the grand prize in the representative brand apple category in Korea for 10 consecutive years," and added, "We will continue to do our best in promotion so that the brand value of Cheongsong apples increases further and practically helps increase farmers' income."
