[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, attended the "KRX National Happiness Kimchi Sharing for Low-Income and Marginalized Groups" event held at the Korea Exchange on the afternoon of the 24th.

The Korea Exchange donated 500 boxes of kimchi on this day, and the donated kimchi will be delivered to low-income vulnerable groups in the area, such as single-parent families and elderly living alone. Meanwhile, the Korea Exchange has been continuing various social contribution activities for the local community since 2011, including kimchi sharing and psychological counseling support for the elderly.

Mayor Choi Ho-kwon said, "I deeply appreciate the Korea Exchange for practicing warm sharing every year for the difficult neighbors in our area," and added, "The district office will also make multifaceted efforts so that no marginalized residents are left out and everyone can have a warm winter together."
