Professor Oh Joon-taek of Soongsil University Receives 'Young Researcher Award' from the Korean Electromagnetic Wave Society

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Soongsil University announced on the 24th that Professor Oh Juntak (photo) of the Department of Electronic Information Engineering, IT Convergence Major, received the 2022 Young Researcher Award from the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES). This award is given once a year to a young researcher who has contributed to the development of the Electromagnetic Society and the academic advancement in the field of electromagnetics through outstanding academic achievements and active service.


Professor Oh Juntak joined Soongsil University in 2020 and has conducted research in the field of radio wave applications as the principal investigator of the Integrated Circuits and Systems Laboratory (ICSL) in the Department of Electronic Information Engineering. He is currently serving as the Executive Director in charge of Information, a member of the Academic Conference Preparation Committee, and a research committee member of the Radar Research Society at the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science.
