Naver Expert announced on the 24th that it has connected experts and users 2 million times within three years of its launch. Naver Expert is a knowledge trading platform where experts in various fields such as fortune-telling, tax, psychology, and legal affairs can meet users through one-on-one consultations or online classes.
Most Popular Field No.1 'Fortune-telling & Saju'... 'Tax' Popular in January and May
Marking its third anniversary, Naver Expert released the 'Expert 3rd Anniversary Summary Page' that allows a comprehensive view of the data accumulated so far. Over the past three years, the most popular field on Naver Expert was 'Fortune-telling & Saju', followed by 'Tarot' in second place, 'Tax Accountant' third, 'Mental Health' fourth, and 'Lawyer' fifth.
In particular, Naver Expert has been actively used by the 20s and 30s generation. Women in their 20s showed high interest in 'MBTI', while men in their 20s sought a lot of information about 'IT and know-how'. People in their 30s were interested in professional knowledge in the 'Real Estate Consulting' field, and teenagers and women in their 40s showed great interest in 'College Entrance & Admission'.
The professional fields sought by users also varied depending on the period. In January and May, when year-end tax adjustments and comprehensive income tax filings are made, consultations related to 'Tax' increased significantly. During the university early and regular admission periods in September and December, the number of users seeking experts in the 'College Entrance & Admission' field surged.
Rapid Growth Due to Improved Accessibility to Expertise... 36 Experts with Over 100 Million KRW in Sales
The rapid growth of Naver Expert stems from the fact that it allows easy and quick access to specialized knowledge that is difficult for the general public to obtain. Users can browse experts nationwide without time and space constraints and select the expert they want in real time.
Starting with three consultation fields in 2019, Naver Expert now operates 96 consultation fields. Six out of ten buyers repurchase, and the average user rating is 4.7 out of 5, indicating high service satisfaction. Recently, the criteria for joining Naver Expert have been relaxed to those with a Knowledge iN Jijeon grade or higher, allowing more knowledgeable contributors who have long been active and recognized for their expertise in the knowledge community service ‘Knowledge iN’ to join Naver Expert.
Meanwhile, Naver Expert has contributed not only to users but also to the growth of experts. Among the experts active on Naver Expert, 36 have achieved cumulative sales exceeding 100 million KRW. The top three experts with the highest sales are based in Daegu, Pyeongtaek, and Gangseo regions respectively, but they have grown into nationwide experts by connecting with users across the country through Expert.
