President Yoon to Hold Dinner Meeting with Ruling Party Leadership on the 25th

[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] President Yoon Seok-yeol will meet with the People Power Party leadership on the 25th to share the outcomes of his overseas trip and discuss the passage of next year's budget bill.

According to the Presidential Office spokesperson on the 23rd, President Yoon has invited Emergency Response Committee Chairman Jeong Jin-seok, Floor Leader Joo Ho-young, Secretary-General Kim Seok-ki, and other party leaders to a dinner. From the Presidential Office, Chief Secretary Kim Dae-gi and Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Lee Jin-bok, among other aides, are expected to attend.

At this meeting, President Yoon is expected to share the achievements of his Southeast Asia trip and discuss current issues such as the passage of next year's budget and the parliamentary investigation into the Itaewon tragedy. In particular, he is likely to encourage the Emergency Response Committee, which has taken on the role of stabilizing the party's turmoil.

Earlier, in June, President Yoon invited then-People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok and other party leaders to the Yongsan Presidential Office for a luncheon meeting. In September, he held a luncheon with the People Power Party's Special Committee for Strengthening Semiconductor Industry Competitiveness, and in October, he had a luncheon with the party leadership and out-of-parliament party district committee chairpersons.
