[Asia Economy Reporter Seomibeum] The Korea Publishers Association has selected and announced the '2022 Publisher of the Year' and the '10th Excellent Editing Book Awards.'

The recipients of the 'Publisher of the Year' awards are ▲Grand Prize: Kim In-ho, CEO of Bada Publishing ▲Merit Award: Kim Byung-ik, literary critic ▲Special Award: KBBY Korea Branch of the International Board on Books for Young People ▲Young Publisher Award: Do Jin-ho, CEO of Jino Publishing ▲Editing Division Award: Shim Ha-eun, Head of the Hardcover Team at Hyundai Munhak Co., Ltd. ▲Marketing Division Award: Jang Dong-hwan, Head of Marketing at Mirae M&B ▲Design Division Award: Jung Eun-kyung, CEO of ArtHyu, Institute of Humanities and Arts.

The '10th Excellent Editing Book Awards,' given to books with outstanding editing, proofreading, and copyediting, were awarded to ▲'The Genetic Code of Korean Housing' (Chief Editor Park Jeong-hyun, Mati) and ▲'The Origins of Korean Plant Names' (Chief Editors Park Kyung-ran and three others, Simple Life).

The awards ceremony will be held at the '2022 Publisher's Night' on the 6th of next month at the Amanti Hotel Seoul Grand Ballroom.
