[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 22nd that it will conduct the "2023 Individual Housing Characteristics Survey for the Official Announcement of Individual Housing Prices" from the 23rd until January 19th of next year.
This individual housing characteristics survey targets approximately 25,700 houses including detached houses, multi-family houses, and residential-commercial complex houses within the region.
To this end, the city completed training on survey procedures for public officials responsible for surveys in towns, townships, and neighborhoods on the 17th.
The individual housing price characteristics survey will be conducted by surveyors in each town, township, and neighborhood who will carry housing characteristic survey forms and maps to conduct on-site visits.
Since individual housing prices are important data used for providing price information in the housing market and as a basis for taxation such as local and national taxes, the city plans to enhance the reliability of the survey through thorough field-centered investigations.
After preliminarily checking changes in various records such as building management registers, the survey will focus on land characteristics such as road frontage and shape, as well as building characteristics including structure, roof, extensions or reconstructions, and demolitions.
The city plans to calculate individual housing prices reflecting the results of this survey, undergo verification by the Korea Real Estate Board, operate a price viewing period, and go through the Real Estate Price Official Announcement Committee's review process, with the decision and announcement scheduled for April 28th next year.
A city official stated, "Since individual housing prices are closely related to taxpayers' tax burdens, we will do our best to conduct an accurate survey," and added, "We ask for residents' active cooperation to ensure accurate and smooth surveys when surveyors visit the site."
