Jang Hyun-guk CEO: "100 Blockchain Games to Be Onboarded by Q1 Next Year"

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] On the 18th, Wemade CEO Jang Hyun-guk delivered a keynote speech titled "A New Paradigm: Intergame Economy and Metaverse" at the 'G-CON X IGC (International Game Conference)'.

CEO Jang stated, "Although there are misunderstandings about cryptocurrency, Wemade believes in the unique vision of WEMIX and is realizing it through blockchain services such as the DAO & NFT platform 'Nile', the DeFi service 'WEMIXFi', and the stablecoin 'WEMIX Dollar'."

He continued, "The global version of 'Mir4', which combines gameplay with blockchain technology, has opened the worldwide P&E (Play and Earn) market and established itself as the number one global game. Based on this blockchain game onboarding, the 'WEMIX Play' platform has also advanced to become the top global platform."

He also revealed that 2023 will be a year of expansion for WEMIX Play as a global open platform. CEO Jang emphasized, "By the first quarter of next year, we plan to onboard 100 blockchain games and ultimately introduce an advanced platform service where anyone can create their own tokenomics."

The international game conference was held over two days, the 17th and 18th, at Busan BEXCO during 'G-STAR 2022'. Developers and executives representing various fields such as online, console, mobile games, indie, and metaverse participated as speakers.
