Dobong-gu to Host CSAT Preliminary Scoring Analysis and Regular Admission Briefing at Seoninbong Hall on 24th at 7 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Seogang Seok) will hold the ‘2023 Songparun University Entrance Exam Briefing Session’ online on the 22nd to ease the concerns of local examinees and parents regarding college admissions.
The session will be broadcast live for two hours from 6 PM on the Songparun YouTube channel, where Lee Youngdeok, former director of Daesung Academic Research Institute and a top admissions expert, will provide a comprehensive review of the College Scholastic Ability Test and reveal strategies for regular admissions applications.
By communicating with participants in real time and conducting Q&A sessions, the briefing aims not only to alleviate anxiety about the changing admissions environment but also to help examinees choose career paths suited to their aptitudes and develop application strategies.
The session will focus on ▲subject-by-subject analysis of the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test ▲expected passing scores based on provisional scoring results ▲advantages and disadvantages depending on elective subjects. After the briefing, videos and materials will be available on the Songparun website.
Additionally, from December 9 to 29, when the College Scholastic Ability Test results are announced, the district will operate ‘Songparun 1:1 Regular Admissions Strategy Consulting.’
Career and admissions counseling experts from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s University Admission Guidance Support Group will provide direct consultations, verifying universities that examinees can apply to based on their actual test scores and offering admission strategies linked to their desired career paths.
Consultations will be held at the Songparun Admission Learning Support Center for 100 local examinees, with sessions lasting 50 minutes each during ▲weekdays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and ▲Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Any examinee interested in admissions can apply for free via the Songparun website or the Songpa-gu Office Education Cooperation Division.
Mayor Seogang Seok of Songpa-gu stated, “We hope to provide useful information to examinees and parents to ease the burden of admissions even a little,” adding, “I wish all examinees who have worked hard preparing for the College Scholastic Ability Test for a long time achieve the results they desire.”
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eonseok) will hold the ‘2023 College Entrance CSAT Provisional Scoring Result Analysis and Regular Admissions Support Briefing Session’ for examinees and parents at 7 PM on the 24th in the Seoninbong Hall of the district office.
The briefing session is designed for examinees and parents residing in Dobong-gu or attending schools in the district, providing analysis of the provisional scoring results of this year’s College Scholastic Ability Test and strategies to assist with regular admissions applications.
Applications can be made through the Dobong-gu website under ‘Participation/Internet Reservation (Mobile: Recruitment Application).’ On-site participation is also possible if seats are available.
For examinees and parents unable to attend in person, the session will be streamed live on the district’s official YouTube channel, ‘Dobongbong TV.’
Mayor Oh Eonseok of Dobong-gu said, “We have prepared this briefing session so that the efforts of examinees who have worked hard amid the COVID-19 situation can bear fruit. We ask for the active participation of interested examinees and parents.”
