Volunteer Work to Assist Harvesting at Cheongung Cultivation Farms in Iwol-myeon, Yeongyang-gun Village chiefs' association, volunteer fire brigade, youth association, and staff of the Ilwol-myeon office assisting with labor at the Cheongung cultivation farms in Ilwol-myeon, Yeongyang-gun.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwi-yeol] On the 17th, Ilwol-myeon, Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, conducted volunteer work to assist the Cheongung cultivation farm in Chilseong-ri, Ilwol-myeon, which is experiencing difficulties due to an unexpected accident.


About 30 members from local organizations such as the Ilwol-myeon Village Chief Council, Volunteer Fire Brigade, Youth Association, and Ilwol-myeon Office staff helped harvest Cheongung at the farm of Mr. Lee (47 years old) in Chilseong-ri, who has been facing labor shortages due to recent recruitment difficulties and a sudden injury.


Mr. Lee (47 years old) from Chilseong-ri, who received the volunteer assistance, expressed his gratitude, saying, "The sudden accident made my future uncertain, but thanks to the warmth of the local community, I was able to overcome the crisis. Once I recover in bed, I will become a resident who can offer even a small help to the community."


County Governor Oh Do-chang said, "I am glad to have been able to ease the difficulties of the farm affected by the sudden accident even a little, and I deeply thank the residents and staff who willingly participated in the volunteer work despite their busy schedules. We will continue to do our best to ensure that the warmth of the community reaches every corner."
