[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) operated an experiential activity program on the 15th to encourage local children under protection.
According to the county on the 17th, this program was prepared to develop the future capabilities of children under protection through various experiential activities, enhance their self-esteem, and increase understanding of the region through cultural heritage exploration.
The event was held with experiential activities such as exploring hidden local cultural heritage throughout Hwasun starting from Unjusa Temple, making pottery, leather workshop crafts, and indoor gardening.
One child said, "It was a great opportunity to experience various cultural heritages and activities that I usually cannot easily experience," and added, "I want to participate in various programs in the future."
A county official said, "We will continue to actively support children and discover new programs beyond this one," and added, "We will do our best to make the county the best child-friendly city in Korea."
