Kibo and Food Promotion Institute Join Hands for Food SME Technology Innovation

Next-Generation Technology Trading Platform Integration... Contributing to Innovative Growth in the Food Industry

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 17th that it has signed a "business agreement to support open innovation activities of food small and venture enterprises and jointly utilize platforms" with the Korea Food Industry Cluster Promotion Agency (Chairman Kim Young-jae, hereinafter referred to as Food Promotion Agency).

This agreement was prepared to establish a mutually organic cooperative system by promoting innovative growth and activating technology transactions of food small and venture enterprises through open technological innovation and platform linkage between Kibo and the Food Promotion Agency.

Through the agreement, both organizations will promote ▲ platform information linkage and joint use of Kibo's e-electronic contract system ▲ establishment of a joint promotional system ▲ linkage of technology finance and commercialization support for technology transfer companies ▲ exchange of core competencies and technical information between the two organizations. Kibo plans to open the next-generation small and venture open technology innovation platform, "Smart Tech Bridge," in December this year. Smart Tech Bridge connects technology transaction and commercialization support information scattered across ministries to provide demand-tailored information to small businesses, and also offers AI-based customized technology matching services and blockchain-based online electronic contract services.

Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, said, "It is meaningful that both organizations have created an opportunity to actively support technological innovation of food small and venture enterprises and contribute to the innovative growth of the food industry through this agreement."
