Conducting U.S. IPO Subscription Through Partnership with Local IPO Brokerage Firm
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 15th that it will launch the ‘US IPO Subscription Agency Service,’ allowing domestic investors to directly participate in the US public offering market. The US IPO Subscription Agency Service is a service that facilitates subscription tasks through a partnership between NH Investment & Securities and a local US IPO brokerage firm, enabling direct participation in US IPO subscriptions.
NH Investment & Securities stated that the subscription agency service was established to provide customers with a new investment experience in the US public offering market. This service is available through the subscription agency platform on the NH Investment & Securities app, creating an opportunity for customers to directly subscribe to the previously untapped US IPO market. The target stocks are US IPO public offerings scheduled to be listed on major US exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX).
Customers wishing to use the US IPO Subscription Agency Service can apply for service registration and then submit subscription applications for US IPOs, receiving convenient services through to stock allocation. The subscription agency application period is from the subscription start date until one business day before the listing date (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and early closure may occur depending on the stock.
Subsequent IPO allocations are determined not by competitive ratio distribution but according to the local US brokerage firm’s own allocation method, and the sale of allocated stocks is possible from three business days after the listing date (T+3). For more details, customers can check the MTS service guide and contact the customer center.
Meanwhile, NH Investment & Securities has been providing real-time quotes for 20 US stocks since August, and starting this month, it has begun offering investment report services from Valueline, a US investment research company with a 90-year tradition.
