Hwasun-gun Accepting Applications for 'Organic Fertilizer Support Project' Until the 8th of Next Month

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 15th that it will accept applications for the '2023 Organic Fertilizer Support Project' until the 8th of next month.

The supported fertilizers include three types of organic fertilizers (mixed organic powder, mixed organic matter, organic compound fertilizer) and two types of matured organic fertilizers (livestock manure compost, compost).

Applicant farmers must be agricultural management entities registered with the county's agricultural management information system, and the registration must be maintained in 2023 when the fertilizer is supplied.

Subsidies are provided as a fixed amount (1,500 won to 1,600 won).

Farmers purchasing products from producers located in Hwasun and those using livestock manure top-grade products certified as eco-friendly will receive an additional county subsidy of 300 won per 20kg bag as preferential support.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare centers of the jurisdictional eup/myeon where the farmland is located or by proxy submission through village heads, etc.

However, matured organic fertilizer applications cannot exceed 2,000 kg per 10 ares.
