On the preliminary gathering day, the 16th, 30 special buses for examinees will be dispatched to high schools to transport students to 8 test sites. On the test day, the 17th, 27 special buses for examinees will operate, transporting students from 10 separate regional gathering points to 8 test sites.

The ‘1000-won rental taxi’ service will also be increased to 400 vehicles on the 17th and will operate from 6 a.m. The ‘1000-won rental taxi,’ which requires only 1000 won per person, has been operating since the 9th with 150 vehicles running on 8 city bus routes during school commute and rush hours from 7 to 9 a.m. and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., replacing city buses along the bus stop sections.

Mokpo city officials will also participate in emergency transportation to transport examinees to the test sites.

The city requested that examinees be given voluntary rides, taxis prioritize examinees, parking be prohibited around test sites, and noise be minimized to ensure examinees can take the test without any problems.

Mayor Park Hong-ryul of Mokpo said, “I sincerely hope that examinees remain healthy in both body and mind during the remaining period so that their efforts so far can lead to meaningful results.”

Meanwhile, as a result of efforts to expand emergency transportation vehicles, the number of charter buses has increased from 28 to 52, and the routes have been expanded from 4 (No. 1, 1A, 9, 13) to 8 by adding 4 more routes including No. 6, 15, 20, and 60.

Accordingly, starting Monday the 21st, the 8 routes will operate during daytime hours on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
