Korea Transportation Disabled Association Yeongyang-gun Branch Holds Public-Private-Police Joint 'Traffic Safety Resolution Rally' Yeongyang County Office.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] The Korea Transportation Disabled Association Yeongyang-gun Branch in Gyeongbuk held the "2022 Civil-Government-Police Joint Traffic Safety Resolution Rally" at 11 a.m. on November 14th in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Yeongyang-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center.


The event was attended by about 200 people including local civil, government, and police organizations, as well as families of traffic accident disabled persons. It proceeded with a traffic safety campaign photo exhibition, presentation of commendation plaques to exemplary citizens related to traffic safety, and the reading of the traffic safety resolution. Additionally, about 10 vehicles belonging to the Yeongyang Police Station and the Korea Transportation Disabled Association Gyeongbuk Branch patrolled the Yeongyang-eup area to promote the necessity of obeying traffic laws.


The traffic safety resolution rally aims to raise awareness of the dangers of traffic accidents among Yeongyang residents and to reduce traffic accidents by fostering advanced traffic culture and awareness of traffic law compliance.


Kim Jong-seo, head of the Transportation Disabled Association Yeongyang-gun Branch, said, "Through the traffic safety campaign car parade and resolution rally, we will promote safety awareness for both drivers and pedestrians, prevent disabilities caused by traffic accidents, and strive to improve the rights and rehabilitation of traffic-disabled persons."


Governor Oh Do-chang said, "Through this resolution rally, I hope all residents will have a heightened awareness of the dangers and seriousness of traffic accidents and comply with traffic laws to make Yeongyang safe from traffic accidents."
