Banko operates the cryptocurrency exchange Borabit, launched in 2018. Borabit has been operating a system that filters scam coins through its own internal evaluation. According to Banko, this partnership with the Korea Virtual Asset Evaluation and Certification Institute has established a more advanced coin evaluation and listing diagnosis mechanism.
The Terra-Luna incident raised concerns about a bubble in the global coin market. Especially amid growing investor demands for institutional measures to preemptively filter out scam coins with unclear identities, this partnership is expected to further enhance Borabit's credibility.
A Banko official explained, "Borabit's top priority is to provide stable services and build strong trust from investors based on accurate and objective information with an ethical sense of mission."
