As of the end of December, international flights departing from Busan are scheduled to expand to a total of 9 routes
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Jin Air is launching a new route between Busan and Kota Kinabalu.
Starting from the 23rd of next month, Jin Air will operate a total of 189-seat B737 aircraft on the Busan-Kota Kinabalu route with a schedule of seven flights per week. Ticket reservations have been opened through the website and mobile web/app.
The flight schedule, based on local time, departs from Gimhae Airport daily at 19:10 and arrives in Kota Kinabalu at 23:50. The return flight from Kota Kinabalu departs at 01:00 the following day.
Meanwhile, Jin Air is also running a discount coupon event for new international routes departing from Busan. A 20,000 KRW discount is offered for reservations on the Busan-Kota Kinabalu route, and a 10,000 KRW discount coupon is available for Japanese routes such as Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo. Discount coupons can be pre-issued through the website and mobile web/app.
Jin Air stated, "By the end of this year, we will operate a total of nine international routes departing from Busan, including the Busan-Sapporo route launching on the 23rd of next month," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand the international route network departing from Gimhae Airport and enhance travel options and convenience."
