About 200 people, including County Governor O Do-chang, guests, and residents, attended to celebrate the completion ceremony.
Built in 1980, the Ipam-myeon Administrative Welfare Center had a total floor area of 787.51㎡ and was a two-story building, providing administrative services to residents for 42 years. However, due to the aging of the building, the need for a high-quality new office building that meets the times had been raised.
Accordingly, the county carried out construction for 1 year and 5 months, investing a total project cost of 2.8 billion KRW to newly build a three-story building with a total floor area of 997.89㎡. The main facilities include ▲1st floor offices, counseling room, and duty room ▲2nd floor large conference room and head of myeon’s office ▲3rd floor small conference room, multipurpose room, and document storage.
At the completion ceremony, County Governor Oh presented plaques of appreciation to Chief Supervisor Lee Yong-hwan and Site Manager Ahn Jong-won of the construction company, expressing gratitude for their efforts in building the newly advanced new office building.
O Do-chang, Governor of Yeongyang-gun, said, “I hope the Ipam-myeon Administrative Welfare Center will establish itself not only as a provider of administrative services but also as a space for enhancing the welfare of local residents and for resident autonomy communication.”
