Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Mirae Management Academy 'Conduct Local Volunteer Activities'

The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam carried out local volunteer activities at the Gyeongnam branch of the Korean Red Cross together with students of the Future Management Academy.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam carried out local volunteer activities at the Korean Red Cross Gyeongnam Branch from 9:30 a.m. on the 9th together with students of the Future Management Academy.

About 20 participants, including Future Management Academy students and Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry staff, made kimchi and side dishes by themselves and delivered them to vulnerable groups in the region.

A second-generation businessperson who participated in the volunteer activity said, “I joined today’s activity to follow the example of senior entrepreneurs who took care of those around them especially in difficult times. I feel proud to contribute to the community not only through economic activities but also through social activities.”

The Future Management Academy is a knowledge network operated by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on second-generation and prospective businesspersons in the region to discover future industries and promote regional economic development.
