Gucci Sponsors Cultural Heritage Administration's Gyeongbokgung Preservation Project

Italian brand Gucci announced on the 9th that it will sponsor the Cultural Heritage Administration's Gyeongbokgung Palace preservation project for three years. On the 1st, Gucci signed a business agreement with the Cultural Heritage Administration to support the preservation management and utilization of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Marco Bizzarri, Gucci's Global Chairman and CEO, said, "We are pleased to be able to join the commitment to protect Korea's cultural heritage," adding, "We hope to contribute to the preservation of the rich historical and artistic heritage of this magnificent site."


Gucci had planned to hold Creative Director Alessandro Michele's first fashion show in Korea at Geunjeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace on the 1st, but canceled the event in consideration of the national mourning period following the Itaewon tragedy.
