[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Kim Hyunjung] China's Consumer Price Index (CPI) for October rose 2.1% year-on-year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China on the 9th. This figure is below both the previous month's rate (2.8%) and the forecast (2.4%).
The Producer Price Index (PPI) announced on the same day fell 1.3% year-on-year in October. Last month's PPI growth rate was 0.9%, and the market had expected a 1.5% decline in October.
