Jeju Yeondong 119 Center Conducts Joint Fire Drill with Public Institution Volunteer Fire Brigades

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Fire Station Yeondong 119 Center (Center Chief Kang Seongcheol) announced on the 9th that it recently conducted a joint fire drill with the self-defense fire brigade of the Public Institution Road Management Department located in Yeondong.

The main contents of this training include education on evacuation and notification procedures inside the building in case of fire, assembly and assignment of tasks to the self-defense fire brigade, use of fire extinguishers for initial suppression, and CPR training in case of emergency patients.

Kang Seongcheol, head of the Yeondong 119 Center, said, "The role of the self-defense fire brigade is crucial in preventing major damage during initial fires and emergency patient occurrences," and added, "Please continue regular self-defense fire brigade training to be prepared for any accidents."
