[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Signiel Busan announced on the 9th that it will introduce the ‘Scents of Signiel’ package, which allows guests to try the hotel’s signature product, the room spray, first.


Lotte Hotel developed the signature scent ‘Walk in the Wood’ in June 2019 to enhance the services of Signiel Hotel. The Walk in the Wood scent is a woody fragrance that combines subtle woody notes, refreshing fruity aromas, and fragrant floral scents, making it popular due to its light and unobtrusive lingering scent.


Although this scent was originally developed for internal blending purposes, it was released as a diffuser following continuous purchase inquiries from hotel visitors. The diffuser received positive consumer responses, with sales increasing by more than 30% in the first half of this year compared to the previous year, establishing itself in the market as a hotel-style ‘hyangterior’ (scent + interior) product.


Following the diffuser, Lotte Hotel is launching a new product after three years: a room spray with improved fragrance projection. To commemorate the launch of this new product, the package offers one night’s stay along with one room spray (100ml). It is available until March 31 of next year.


A representative of Signiel Busan said, “Many consumers want to recreate the unique pleasant and cozy atmosphere that the hotel provides in their own homes,” adding, “We will continue to offer hotel products that meet consumer needs and contribute to elevating the quality of living spaces.”
