[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, visited the funeral hall of the late Son Bok-nam, mother of CJ Group Chairman Lee Jae-hyun, on the 6th to pay his respects.

Chairman Chung visited the funeral hall set up at the CJ Talent Institute in Pil-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, at around 1:55 PM that day to mourn the deceased. Earlier, Choi Chang-won, Vice Chairman of SK Discovery, also paid his respects at around 1:50 PM.

Advisor Son passed away on the morning of the 5th due to an illness. She was the mother of Chairman Lee Jae-hyun, the wife of the late Lee Maeng-hee, honorary chairman of CJ Group and eldest son of the late Lee Byung-chul, founder of Samsung Group, and also the elder sister of Son Kyung-sik, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation. The funeral was held privately with family only.
