National Pension Service Recruiting 38 Fund Management Experts

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The National Pension Service Fund Management Headquarters announced on the 3rd that it will conduct the 4th recruitment of asset management experts for 2022.


The recruitment will be conducted across various fields of the Fund Management Headquarters, including strategy, equities, bonds, real estate·infrastructure·private equity. A total of 38 people will be selected. This recruitment targets responsible portfolio managers and full-time portfolio managers who have practical investment experience recognized by the Service for a certain period. The application submission period is from today until the 16th. The final successful candidates are expected to be appointed in January next year.


The entire recruitment process will be conducted in a blind manner (no disclosure of academic background, age, gender, family relations, etc.). Candidates who pass the document screening will undergo personality tests and reputation checks by external professional agencies. Detailed information regarding qualifications by field and rank related to the recruitment of portfolio management positions can be found on the Service’s website.


The National Pension Service operates a talent development program (NPS WING Program) that provides overseas training, specialized education, and opportunities to work at overseas investment institutions to strengthen employee capabilities. The personnel selected this time can also participate in the program.


This is the last large-scale recruitment of fund management experts reflecting the increased personnel. From 2023, only recruitment for vacancies will be conducted.
