Boseong-gun Delivers Supplies for Traffic-Vulnerable to Boseong Police Station

Strengthening Nationwide Traffic Safety Collaboration... Distribution to Vulnerable Road Users Including Children and Elderly

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeonnam Boseong-gun announced that it has produced and delivered 1,000 traffic safety items to the Boseong Police Station to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vulnerable road users and to eliminate blind spots in traffic accidents.

The delivered traffic safety items include a total of 1,000 pieces: 300 reflective vests, 300 pens, 200 reflective boards, and 200 yellow cards, produced to prevent traffic accidents involving vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly with reduced cognitive abilities.

Going forward, the Boseong Police Station plans to distribute the traffic safety items received from the county to vulnerable road users during traffic guidance for children commuting to and from school and during on-site patrols.

Lee Seong-ho, Director of Safety and Construction, said, "To reduce traffic accidents, it is most important for residents to practice traffic safety." He added, "The county will continue to promote traffic safety infrastructure expansion projects considering regional characteristics and carry out a county-wide safety culture campaign to achieve Boseong as a safe number one place where everyone can feel secure."

Meanwhile, Boseong-gun continues to operate traffic safety education in cooperation with professional educational institutions to establish advanced traffic awareness among local residents and minimize traffic accidents.
