Plasmap Secures 300 Billion KRW in Cumulative Orders... 'Expected to Grow as a Global Healthcare Unicorn'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Plasmap announced on the 2nd that it has signed a supply contract worth 89.5 billion KRW with QMED, focusing on the North American dental market. The company has secured a total cumulative order contract of 300 billion KRW. Through 16 domestic contracts (approximately 90 billion KRW) and 36 overseas contracts (approximately 210 billion KRW), it has laid the foundation for global commercialization.

Bio plasma deep-tech company Plasmap has obtained FDA certification in the United States for its low-temperature plasma sterilizer product (STERLINK), becoming the first non-American company to do so. This is the reason why sales are rapidly increasing as the company signs supply contracts for the only compact plasma sterilizer product that can be used in numerous small clinics in the U.S.

QMED is a leading medical device supplier on the U.S. East Coast. It serves as a major supplier to Henry Schein and Patterson Dental, the first and second largest companies in the U.S. dental market. Plasmap expects to quickly translate its plasma sterilizer products and implant surface treatment products into performance in the North American dental market. It is expanding its growth range next year to increase the visibility of turning profitable.

Plasmap CEO Lim Yoobong said, "Having recently completed the KOSDAQ listing and focusing on business, all executives and employees will do their best to grow into a global healthcare unicorn company."
