[Hot Stock] Wemade Up 23% on News of 66 Billion Won Investment Including Microsoft

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] WEMADE, which secured investment from Microsoft and others, is showing strong performance.

As of 2:11 PM on the 2nd, WEMADE was trading at 56,400 KRW, up 23.01% (10,550 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.

On this day, WEMADE announced that it had attracted investments worth 66 billion KRW (approximately 46 million USD) from Shinhan Asset Management, Kiwoom Securities, Microsoft, and others. The investment was secured through the issuance of convertible bonds (CB).

A WEMADE representative explained, "This investment was secured under favorable conditions from leading domestic financial investors and overseas strategic investors despite the uncertain macro environment and intensified market volatility."
