Park Hyeongjin, Lee Seoyun, and Jeong Haseullin Abstract Art Exhibition at Kyobo Art Space

[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Kyobo Bookstore's exhibition space, Kyobo Art Space, is hosting the exhibition "Reality" featuring artists Park Hyeongjin, Lee Seoyun, and Jeong Haseullin until December 27.


The exhibition was planned to introduce young artists who work with abstract elements such as "color, shapes, dots, and lines" to depict concrete subjects from everyday life like "landscapes, objects, people, and events."

Artist Park Hyeongjin graduated from the Department of Oriental Painting at Sungshin Women's University College of Fine Arts and completed a master's degree and doctoral coursework there. He has held seven solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at venues such as G-Valley Industrial Museum, Jang Ukjin Museum of Art, OCI Museum of Art, Hite Collection, and Nook Gallery.

Artist Lee Seoyun graduated from the Department of Printmaking at Hongik University College of Fine Arts and the Graduate School of Formative Arts at Korea National University of Arts. She has held two solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at YPC Space, Hite Collection, Rainbow Cube Gallery, Eoul Art Center, and Keep Interch.

Artist Jeong Haseullin graduated from the Korea National University of Arts College of Fine Arts and studied the "Printmaking and Drawing" program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. She has held two solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at Pixel Counting, Kim Sejung Museum of Art, and WESS.


A representative of Kyobo Art Space stated, "Through the works of these three artists who present unique drawing methods based on deep contemplation of contemporary abstract art trends, we hope visitors will experience the joy of interpreting abstract art by observing how the subjects chosen by the artists?such as landscapes, objects, people, and events?are transformed into abstract art."
