[Special Stock] VESSEL, Boeing CEO Visits Korea for UAM Collaboration with Hyundai Motor... Consortium with Hyundai Motor Gains Attention↑

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Vessel is showing strong performance following news that Boeing's CEO will visit Korea this week to discuss UAM and other topics with Hyundai Motor and Hanwha. Vessel has participated in government national projects through a consortium with Hyundai Motor.


As of 9:35 AM on the 1st, Vessel is trading at 5,030 KRW, up 2.65% from the previous day.


According to industry sources, Calhoun, CEO of Boeing, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, is scheduled to visit Korea on the 4th. It is known that CEO Calhoun is visiting Korea to strengthen cooperative relationships with major domestic companies such as Hyundai Motor.


Hyundai Motor Group is fostering AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) as one of its growth engines. AAM is a concept that adds RAM (Regional Air Mobility), which connects neighboring cities, to UAM.


Hyundai Motor is strengthening cooperative relationships with major aircraft manufacturers to advance its technology. Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Euisun met with Boeing executives at the Farnborough Airshow in the UK last July to discuss the AAM business.


Meanwhile, Vessel is known to have participated in the government's national project for autonomous flying personal aircraft together with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Hyundai Motor. Engaged in businesses such as UAM, manned and unmanned aircraft, and aircraft parts, Vessel showcased its top-tier independent vertical takeoff and landing aircraft design and development capabilities in Korea through Drone Show Korea.
