Meanwhile, other international schools, Branksome Hall Asia (BHA) and North London Collegiate School (NLCS), have submitted applications requesting increases in their enrollment capacities by 350 and 304 students, respectively.

Additionally, last year, two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) were signed with renowned international schools from Europe and the United States, and this month, a third MOU was confirmed to attract another international school. Furthermore, with the expansion of existing schools within the English Education City and the installation of the KAIST Global Convergence Center, demand for housing near international schools is expected to increase even more.

In this way, Jeju Island is gaining more attention as a premium educational city due to efforts to increase enrollment capacities at Jeju international schools. The number of families relocating to Jeju for their children's English education or overseas study is rising, and a premium residential town is forming near the English Education City in Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si.
