[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Philosis (CEO Lee Jasu), an affiliate of PHC (CEO Choi Inhwan), announced on the 25th that it has signed an OEM supply contract for blood glucose meters and blood glucose test strips with the global diagnostic technology company Akray.
Akray is a company with world-class diagnostic technology, with branches worldwide including the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and possesses excellent technology for diabetes testing.
Through this supply contract, Philosis plans to launch the convenient and portable 'TrustCheck' product and blood glucose test strips via Akray this coming December, sequentially supplying them starting from the domestic market and expanding the supply scale to the global market. The contract was signed with conditions for annual increase in supply volume.
A Philosis representative stated, "Along with the increased sales of diagnostic kits after COVID-19, we expect blood glucose meter sales to further increase through this OEM supply contract," adding, "By selling products through Akray's global sales network, our company's sales growth is expected to accelerate."
