Two employees from the Agricultural Technology Center and five executives from the Rural Leaders participated in this event, and with the active support of Namyangju City Rural Leaders members, they sold red pepper powder, dried red peppers, and apples, achieving sales of approximately 6 million KRW.
Through this direct sales promotion event, farmers were able to provide agricultural products directly to urban consumers, ensuring reasonable prices and securing multiple pre-order sales channels, resulting in a tangible increase in farm income. Consumers benefited by purchasing high-quality agricultural and specialty products at affordable prices, serving as a good example of urban-rural coexistence.
The president of the Namyangju Rural Leaders said, “It was a very meaningful event because we could see and taste excellent agricultural and specialty products directly, and I hope that through such promotional events, we can frequently access Yeongyang’s outstanding agricultural products.”
