[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 21st that it will sell a winter travel package to Takamatsu, a small city in Shikoku, Japan, through GS Home Shopping at 6 a.m. on the 23rd.

This product is a jointly planned product released to commemorate the resumption of Air Seoul's Takamatsu route (starting November 23), which had been suspended due to COVID-19. Using Air Seoul, the trip departs from Incheon Airport to Takamatsu Airport for 2 nights and 3 days (departing every Wednesday and Friday) and 3 nights and 4 days (departing every Sunday).

Last month, a Miyazaki exclusive charter flight travel product, launched to mark the full reopening of the economy, sold out all 436 seats within a month. Lotte Tour Development plans to provide the highest satisfaction by offering accommodation at famous hot spring hotels where travelers can enjoy warm hot spring baths during the chilly early winter weather.

The hot spring water at Shinkabakawa Hotel and Second Stage Hotel, located in Shionoe Onsen, the largest hot spring village in Kagawa Prefecture, is known to contain a large amount of fluoride ions. As a special benefit, the package includes a special meal of Sanuki Udon, the hometown dish of Sanuki Udon, and Kaiseki cuisine, a Japanese banquet course meal.

The main course of the 2 nights and 3 days package includes visiting Ritsurin Park in Takamatsu, which received the highest rating of three stars in the Michelin travel guide. On Shodoshima Island, travelers visit Olive Park, where windmills on the hill and Greek-style buildings create a Mediterranean atmosphere. At Kankakei Gorge, one of Japan's three major gorges, visitors can enjoy the surrounding scenery by cable car.

The 3 nights and 4 days package additionally includes a tour of Naoshima, a globally recognized sanctuary of contemporary art. Naoshima is an island considered a single art museum, where visitors can see the yellow and red pumpkins by Yayoi Kusama, a master of Japanese contemporary art, and visit the Lee Ufan Museum designed by architect Tadao Ando.
