He was also recognized for his contribution to spreading coaching culture through continuous writing activities, including the publication of Techniques for Discovering the Mind (2022), which intertwines coaching skills with Buddhist teachings, earning him the Encouragement Award for the Book of the Year.
Partner Coach Jongmyung Kim expressed, “I am grateful to receive these awards and at the same time feel a heavy sense of responsibility. The Coach of the Year Award is understood as a call to contribute and serve society more as a coach, and the Book Award is both encouragement and admonition to study harder. Taking this opportunity, I pledge to devote more effort to nurturing junior coaches and spreading coaching, and to become a coach who studies even more diligently.”
The Coaching Festival, hosted by the Korea Coach Association since 2004 to promote coaching culture and facilitate information exchange, was attended by approximately 700 stakeholders and coaches, making the event a shining occasion. CJ Talent Institute and Handong University, recommended by Coaching Management Institute, were also selected as Excellent Institutions of the Year for their contributions to spreading coaching culture, confirming the strength of Coaching Management Institute.
Meanwhile, Coaching Management Institute attracted attention by presenting a business coaching case under the theme “New Trend in Corporate Culture: 1ON1.” This session advanced coaching education programs beyond focusing solely on processes or skills, distinguishing between interviews and 1ON1 meetings, and provided insights to strengthen leaders’ coaching capabilities through various cases.
