[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Yeongam County announced on the 20th that it held the '2nd Yeongam County Social Welfare Harmony One Mind Festival' at Yeongam Indoor Gymnasium, attended by about 500 social welfare officials.
The event was organized by the Yeongam County Community Security Council to boost the morale of those who contributed to the promotion of social welfare and to improve local welfare through information sharing.
The event featured various experience booths including ▲violence prevention and awareness improvement campaign ▲women's job counseling ▲simple psychological tests ▲making socks and woodworking crafts ▲nostalgic lottery games ▲making advisory bookmarks ▲learning sign language, and more.
In particular, the post-meal program included a 'Harmony Yard' to foster camaraderie among social welfare workers, which received great responses from participants.
Woo Seung-hee, Yeongam County Governor, encouraged, "I am grateful for the hard work of social welfare workers who have warmly supported the local community on the front lines," adding, "We will do our best together with social welfare workers so that all residents can feel a dense and warm welfare."
